"We took a group of wine loving friends to Portugal. Started in Porto and ended our visit in the Lisbon area. Had a fantastic experience and the folks who led our tour were very helpful and provided a lot of background and education in the wine, Having an English speaking and very local person traveling with us proved to be very helpful. Mario was very connected in the wine world and was able to arrange some excellent visits for us. experiences was first class. There was a nice balance of time for each segment of our trip; wine, education, tastings, dining, museum visits and seeing many of the more popular sights in each region. Plus we had ample free time to explore on our own, a nice diversion. Highlight may have been the cruise on the Douro and dinner at a winery that evening, just wow! We plan on returning as soon as possible!"
